Plans

There are some details about each, however, the simple answer is:

A-Plan: Ford employee; Blue-Oval certified Ford Dealer; Close family members of either

X-Plan: Distant family members / close friends of above.

Not all dealers will participate in these plans for certain vehicles - getting a T-Bird on either plan would probably be tough until the supply catches up with demand. However, a little shopping around will probably find a dealer who will work with you if you qualify for either of these plans.

Good luck.

Anyone can get an X-plan though by joining companies that are affiliated with FORD. There is some Aeronautics Membership you can get which will give you the X-plan. I am not sure about what it was called...you can do a search on the boards.

Anyway, A-plan and X-plan are special prices for special members. A-plan is about 1% lower than invoice price and X-plan is about 2% more than invoice price. This should give you an idea of what these plans are all about.

My truck X-planned for $33420. It was tough finding a dealer to do it, because of a short supply right now.
