Anxiously awaiting...

Well, I dropped my truck off today to have the 3/4 kit installed. Still don't even know what brand I bought. How smart is that? Anyway, I'm a bit anxious about the outcome. I sure hope something doesn't get screwed up. The shop seems to know their trade though. It should be ready for pick-up tomorrow afternoon. I'll keep you all informed. Please pray for me...

don't think it will work

outnumbered,

I have installed the 2" shackles. I am the one that started the thread about it the truck not sitting level in the rear now.

Do you think that the truck will have the same stance as yours when using the 2" shackles and 3" springs instead of using the hangers and springs???

Did you ever have the truck set up with the stock front suspension set up and the rear hangers only??? Was the rear level with the front. right now, the rear of my truck is still 1-2" higher than the front.

Any input is appreciated.

Moomba,

Yes I think you will have the same stance with the shackles and springs. It will be much easier for you to replace the shackles vs. the springs.

No I never had the truck lowered in the rear with the stock front set-up. However, in my current set-up, my rear is still 1-2" higher, which is how I wanted it. It's hard to tell from my picture but my truck is not level; it is has a slight rake.
