I am looking at toys for my as yet undelivered 02 HD. Anyone have experience with ******** Lids, they appear similar to the Snuglid, but with a little difference hinge and latch design. There is no Snuglid dealer in my area.

Has anyone put (electric) remote control latches on their tonneau cover other than a kit originally made for the lid. I found some latches at Watson Streetworks, see link below.

Those are exactly the two that I am looking at! I really like the 2000 series from *******'s... but the near-$1000 price is a little scary. Have you found a price on the Snuglid? The best I've found so far on the ******* is from Autobahn.

 

I talked to ******* dealer today and he thought it would be about $750 in Black (my color) I also think that is the hard mount vice clamp-on version. I am going to stop by his shop and check them out. I like the appearance of the lift mech. in their website, but wanted to check out the operation on a truck. I had a lorider on a flareside a couple of years ago, it looked good but was hard to latch and lift. would really like to put electric latches on it.

 

Autobahn has the original *******'s for $579 (plus freight-$75 for my location). I think you can get it in black or white. Anybody checked prices on the Snuglid?
