What do you think of this??

Cool? practical? a joke? Im not sure what to think. It seems like a pretty cool feature for a truck lid (well, as far as using the speedbumps as a storage compartment). Kinda sporty, but might look funny at certian angles. I wonder what one of these lids would look like on a f150 HD?

Ive been looking at this because it looks to be the most unique thing out there right now. but not sure what to think about them.

they look hideous. perhaps they wouldn't be bad if someone did a conversation to make it a convertible, but that looks horrid. the ceiling? is too high for something like those, the size doesn't match up to anything.

yeah, thats what Im torn about. they just look weird.

other than using them for storage, there is no point for them. and you dont have to use them for storage. From certian angles, like the side of the vehicle, it looks cool. but from other angles it just looks jacked..

and those bumps arent molded into the cover. you can attach them to any hard top. .. so Im assuming there is drilling involved, so if you decide you want to take them off you are stuck with some holes.

well I have decided to not even think about getting these. they are probably extremely overpriced anyway. I want to get a low profile cover, anyone know of any good ones?

We've already seen that a while back on the 'L' forum, and we all pretty much gave it the same response as mrgrantsr, there.

ugh, definately don't like the looks of those. For the little extra storage that you'd get, you would be sacrificing the looks of the truck. and for you ShiftyBeeker, you've got the extended cab so you've got more storage, so i'd say get a different cover, If you like the covers that were supposed to come on all the 00's, leer now makes practically exactly the same cover that were supposedly "just for our harleys" if ya don't know what the 00's stock cover looks like, there should be some pics in my gallery. I'll try to upload some pics of the leer one this weekend. and if ya don't like those, ARE makes a nice LSII lid. Good luck

Well a person could always put a pair of these humps on the front too - then you'd have a torpedo!

From the air these would look like a pair of cheeks - butt ugly!
