Question '02 Steering Wheel

I finally saw the '02HD in both gray and black. They looked very nice, although I'd probably take the flames off. I only saw the gray in the prep area which didn't have good lighting so I couldn't say if I preferred one color over the other.

I realize this may be picky, but inside, I noticed that Ford changed the steering wheel back to the 2-spoke. Can it easily be replaced w/ the '01HD 4-spoke? Do the control buttons match 1-for-1?

Hi,

I commented on that exact thing on my first post after picking up my 02 HD. I don't care for the 2-spoke wheel. I did some investigating and found that you can swap the 01 for the 02 wheel.

mrgrantsr,
Thanks for the investigation! Now that this small obstacle is out of the way, I can focus on the bigger ones!

Well, let me see, 3 guys ahead of me talking about how much better the 01 wheel is than the 02. Here is sit with an 01 truck. So I jokingly make a comment about where to look if my wheel ends up missing. And I'm sure the rest of you feel the same way as in 'don't screw with the Screw'.

I didn't figure it would take much of an explaination. Guess I just have a wierd sense of humor.
