Well,......... here it is. This thread WAS srarted in the Lightning section. I went looking for it into the first 40 freakin' pages over there for it.
Oh well.
Dave-hd: Maybe we could get together one day and play around and do some Lightning-Harley truck comparissons someplace over yonder, hmm? That's too cool man. Finally someone close to home to talk to, whom is interested in the same kind of Ford performance trucks. Just give me a jingle somtime after you take ownership of it. You can email me at planetmars@telus.net
Actually the est. $58K that I came up with was from using a currency converter going from the $36K USD that was stated in a mag. Why.......what are you getting it for, if you don't mind me asking? Have a friend who might get into the ONE that Kelowna Ford Lincoln will be getting. But after he saw what it's going to cost, he backed out, and now is looking for a previous year (Gen.1) HD. Getting yours from Skaha? Talk to ya later.

"......In one of many think sessions between the Ford group and H-D Motor Company namesake Willie G Davidson and crew, Willie took a grease pencil to the subject truck and pulled the design for the sliver of fire. One shot. Done deal. Ford's Harley Davidson Alliance Manager, George Margo, had his team take tracings, and the result is on every H-D F-150 for 2002."
For those whom haven't seen it, it's a pinstripe that starts from the front fender where the headlights meet and works its way down the truck until it hits the side of the bed/box just behind the supercrew cab, where it then turns into a series of small flames for the rest of the way down the truck. I think it adds to it nicely. And if you don't like it and happen to own one, they're just decals, so they peal off. Which makes it good for both opinions of it all.
