Arrow Anyone own or driven the '02 HD yet?

Hey everyone! I was wondering if any of you have driven the '02 HD yet and if any traction problems occur with the eaton on the 5.4? Thanks for your responses.

not yet. my grandfather just bought an F350 4x4 and now my grandma is wanting a new truck.

she has a few custom trucks already.
she is the only grandma i know that collects custom trucks.

anyway we went to Ford the other day and she drove one of their southern comfort supercrews.
the only thing she did not like were the seats b/c they were cloth.
it stickered for $39,000+

i just showed her some pics of the ne HD supercrew, she wants a custom supercrew, and i was telling her that this is the best truck to get.

not sure what she can get it for. i know it sticker for $36,xxx but my dad has a Fleet deal through Ford with his company so we always get a great deal on vehicles.

i just hope they come out to the dealers before she goes off and buys another truck.

i just want her to get the new HD so i can drive it.

Hey there guys and gals, I have been priviledged enough to have a few test drives in the all new 2002 HD SuperCrew and all I can say is this.................they are sweet rides and gonna be quick out of the hole folks! I have heard production will start soon and be on the dealers showroom floors by March or April!

They are quick, sound good, and yes they whine quite well I might add!

ShowYa in Kansas City at the Kansas City Assembly Plant.

.. and if you ask the Harley side of the design team, they'll tell you the exhaust is STILL too quiet (ever since the HD package went from the supercab to supercrew some people just haven't been pleased)

Personally, I don't blame them. I'd slap a few people @ ford until they properly tuned the airbox (yes it can be done) and put on some real "mufflers". vroom vroom.

i would have much rather her have gotten the harley.

Traction problems, what day was that you wanted me to run by and blacktop your driveway for ya( maybe a little burnout needed here?) These are slighty loose in the rear but then again there is no swaybar, you might wanna get one if ya get a HD SuperCrew!

I wouldn't mind that '02 sitting out front of my place... I sold my '01 Harley and I'm currently car-less, much less a Ford. Life threw some different sets of priorities at me but by the time '02 Harleys are sitting on dealer lots, I should have had time to reshuffle'em to their proper orders. My only concern would be what is Ford and Harley planning for '03? '00 to '01 was a substantial change. '01 to '02 even greater, with that powerful engine. Is '03 gonna be the year for sometihng greater? Any info would be nice, as soon as they become available.
