With much fanfare and trumpeting, the V-ROD was unveiled at Harley-Davidson Bayside, Potrsmouth, VA Friday night. Got to see it up close today...dealer is selling it for $17, 995 base. The Road King next to it was $200 less......
Rumor from the floor was that by 2006, this engine will replace the TwinCam 88 in all models.
Nice looking bike, but for the bucks, I can fly to Italy, pick up a new Ducati ST4, run around Europe for a month, then ship us both home.
