Cover alarmed!!

Call me ignorant but, I didn't know until today that my cover was wired into the alarm. Is everyone else's?

My cover is not alarmed. You must have got a bonus from the alarm installer.

Nope

Gene,

No, my cover is not alarmed, but I would like to tie it into it. Do you know how it is activated? Did they install a button switch somewhere? If so, how did they route the wiring? Please let me know, I am very interested.

Mike

I'm a dumbass :o

It seems somehow my alarm (factory) just went off coincidentally as I opened my cover. After reading the responses I figured I couldn't be that lucky so, I went out and checked. No such luck! Now, I've got something to look in to. Sorry.

if you have an aftermarket alarm system it would take about 15 bucks and an hour of time to install an instant trigger pinswitch. i plan on doing this when i get my cover. 3 weeks!!!!!!! well according to leer. i am also looking into a remote pop system. i know it can be done but im am going to see how everything works to decide if it is worth it.
