finally got cover ordered
i finally convinced leer with the help of the previous owner of my truck to oreder the cover. so it is on order now and i will have my order # by thurs. who knows how long the cover will take though. but i assume it wont be too long because most of them are already installed.

It is worth the wait!! The key cylinder will not match your ignition key. If you want it to match you will have to take it to a locksmith.
It cost me $23.00. If you choose to do that DO NOT LET THE INSTALLER PUT THE KEY CYLINDER IN UNTIL YOU TAKE IT TO BE KEYED. When I received my top it did not match so I called Leer & complained and they sent me another key cylinder to be keyed & said the key actuator would brake when the old one is pulled out.
I tried to install on my own & now I am screwed. (The locksmith said to pull the clip & put the new one in) The installer has the new actuator, but they are unsure if they can feed the new assembly in the enclosed area. I am waiting to hear from them. In the mean time I had to unscrew the hooks so it would not stay locked-when the top is down you can not open the tailgate!!
