Side Mirrors for 2000 f150 Harley

Dear COmmunity

Someone knocked off my drivers side mirror on my 2000 f150 harley. The dealerships in the area don't have any and wondering if anyone has any leads on where I can buy a replacement. Open to getting a pair.

I saw some on carparts.com but don't know how reliable that is. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks!

Get the part numbers from the dealer and Google them.

Be careful buying mirrors!

A long time ago, someone did the same thing to my '03 Escape. The mirror itself and motor was OK, but the glass was cracked.

So I went out, and bought a KoolVue replacement. When I got it, the mirror looked OK. However, when I put it on, the convex mirror itself was NOT the same as the OEM. It was terrible! It was like the magnification on it or something was off, because it was not like the original. I returned it, but I really needed a mirror.

So I finally went to a junk yard and found a mirror that was in OK shape and bought it and stuck it on.

Just be careful on the aftermarket Chinesium junk...

On a lot of vehicles the mirror glass is exactly the same except that the passenger side magnifies and the driver's side doesn't. So make sure that you get the correct side. FWIW I've been told that the magnifying passenger-side mirrors is a Federal requirement so the suppliers won't sell me standard non-magnifying flat mirror glass unless I tell them that it's for the driver's side.
