Angry Front End Pitting Yet??

How is everyones front end doing with the paint pitting from highway driving? I would get a bra for the front, but I have heard so many negative things about the paint underneath and I am not 100% on the looks. I supose I will paint the front end every couple of years>>>>>>

I dont have too many problems with this. However, im going to get a So-Cal suspension kit for my truck so it wont hit as many things like sand and bugs that are flying in the air.

I think the bra looks ugly but I guess it is a paint saver.

Anybody know a company that makes good LOW profile window vent shades? If you dont know what they are, they are the things that go around the top of the side windows so you can drive with the windows open when its raining.

I believe the best thing for the trucks front end and probobly the next mod I will be doing is the film that 3M has designed. It clear and doesn't take away from looks. I have a friend who is using it on a lowered civic so lots of crap damages the front. This stuff is a life saver. He also got his fog lights and headlights done so that they don't take a rock and break. I think gettin the lights done is a good plan seeing that it cost so damn much for a replacement.

Thumbs up Wolf brand bras are great!

I use a cheapy bra for the grille when I jump on the interstate. It fits well and really cuts down on the stone damage. I even left it on for several days, once and it never has hurt the paint. The bumper is a different story altogether, though That thing is SO chipped up, the touch ups look like measles, lol. I think I'm gonna get a full front bra, so I can avoid chips after the bumper is repainted,,,,,98

Hey, aren't Harley guys into leather(or black vinyl)anyway?

I'm not sure if they make one for the Harleys yet. If they don't, they should!!
Check out your local auto parts store, you might be surprised. (I'm sure if they do carry it, it will have to be ordered),,,,98
