Any value?

Just bought my 08 hd 150 w/ saleen supercharger... I absolutely love this truck... I have googled the world over and cannot find out how many of these trucks were made and how many of them of them were supercharged... I know it's not a super rare truck, but would just like to know if they carry any extra value..

I found that there were 844 sent to be supercharged by Saleen.
From 1999-2008, Ford sold over 60,000 HD Edition trucks. However, Saleen superchargers were also available outside of the factory, so anyone with a N/A Harley could have added one themselves.

oh really?????

considering all 2002 and 2003 Harley trucks were supercharged from the factory...

and I'd love to see a saleen blower on anything but a three valve expecially a turbo diesel

roush, whipple, procharger, vortech etc wound up on many three valve motors trying to hang with the '02-'03 trucks

He asked about factory supercharged 2008 F-150's. They came exclusively with Saleen blowers, so everything I posted is accurate and correct

Thanks for your concern, though.

Well if you want to get technical, the trucks were sent directly to Saleen to be supercharged.

I didn't come to this thread to start an argument. OP asked about his 2008, not 02-03 as you're bringing up.
It was simply stated that there were over 60K HD Editions sold up until the end of 2008, so that gives the OP an idea of how many there are. 844 were sent to Saleen for a blower before being sold to the first owner.

OP asked how rare this is. Well, as stated, 844 came from Ford this way, then there were plenty of opportunities for someone to add a Saleen blower themselves to an 08 HD that was N/A. So unless you have the window sticker, you will not know for sure whether it came from Ford this way or if the dealer did it.

Bottom line, not every Harley in 08 was supercharged. Saleen blowers are no longer in production, so the chances of anyone else adding one to an 08 HD is slim. It's a unique combination considering there are likely thousands of those trucks out there.
That should answer the OP's concerns.

Please do some more research before posting and/or stick to OP's question.
Unsubscribing.

You're okay, don't worry about the "argument." TJ's out to start a nonsensical argument it seems . . . The dealership I work for sold a saleen-supercharged HD last week and it was a beaut! They do indeed carry more value than a non-supercharged HD, especially when it was sent to Saleen, as this one was. Enjoy

I bought an 07 with saleen supercharger a year ago with 45k miles for $28,000. I now realize it was a huge mistake. It seems no dealer wants to give anything for these trucks despite rarity. I'm currently trying to buy a new fx4 and was only offered $16,000 for it today and it has 50k miles and is still showroom condition, I'm just disgusted over it.
