Question help, just bought a 2000 harley what about tonneau?

I just purchased a 2000 Harley Davidson f150, well actually I dont take delivery untill this thursday, I am buying it from the original owner, he never got around to having the tonneau installed, can he request this for me, before I actually put the title in my name. Or can I request it after I take ownership, I really want the tonneau cover for it, so any help would be greatly appreciated. By the way, I paid 21,607.00 for it, it is a 2000 HD with 8900 miles on it, got it off ebay, would have never bought a vehicle off ebay but this guy lived just over an hour away from me...thanks

Congrats on the purchase. You gonna love it. I'v enever heard of any one buying something that large offf e-bay. Good for you. Did you have any problems or did it go smoothly? Also why ,made you choose your name HArleyVette???

About your question I don't actually know. I think you shoiuld be able to get it yourself. Ask him if he has recieved any information on the tannue? If he said he wanted to take to topper than you should be able to get it.

From everything I've heard, only the original owner can get the cover. You should have him get the ball rolling, then take it to the installer yourself. Or call Leer directly and find out if they'll ship it to you if you give them the VIN number. But damn, you're waaaaay late! Got my truck in December, ordered the cover in January, cover arrived at installer last month, cover still at installer. There's some issue with new mounting brackets waiting to come from Leer. BTW, you can search some earlier threads here for the number to Leer. Good Luck!

The escalade is one hell of an suv. It is defintely my favorite ride for a long trip, and the 2002s are even sweeter, I am going to trade in the near future, when the price of them decrease a little bit. Dealers want $25000 to trade for a new one, that means a 25000 loss in less than two years. But defintely the best suv if you want to spend the money.

Ya hopefully. I have been a fan of the Cherokee for a few years know and am intrested in tryingh to customize something else. So i may go with the escaleade. That a nice loss. I have gone through the same losses over the years on a few of my cars. It's quite the kick in the *****.
