Cant get a 2012 HD Supercab

Finally made the decision to get me a HD F150.
Dealer called to tell me that the one the owner ordered for himself came in and that i can drive it.
Black with all the options. Very impressive looking. Sounds pretty good too!
Checked it all out and then took it for a drive. I LOVED it.
Went inside to order/build me one, except i want/need a 6.5 foot box as this is being used for my sideline business and i need the bigger box. Besides i dont need a crewcab as it is usually just me in the truck anyway.
Come to find out, supercab is not available.
Dang....no HD pickup for me.

I wonder if Ford just looked at how many units were sold. Supercrews are probably make up the top, if not close, cab configuration Ford sells in the F-150s. Trucks are used more for personal use than work now a days. It's a car compared to what they used to be used for. While I understand your frustration, it was probably looked at from a money perspective and ease of keeping costs down. While I think they look ok, HD's do nothing for me since the 2003 body style was killed. The interiors are gorgeous though, just *** ugly on the outside imo.

In higher trim levels though, I see mostly supercrews. Most that I see are XLTs and Lariats although on the 2009+'s I'm seeing a lot of FX4's/ I saw a beautiful black FX4 Ecoboost this morning pulling out of a Cumberland Farms Gas station on my way to campus. Those are sharp

Goes to show you's, how much attention i was paying to HD Trucks.
Now that i want one, it's a no go for me.
I'll have to suffer and get a Platinum or KR

Da*m.....Dealer just told me that the KR and the Platnium are not available in the supercab configuration either for 2012.
SC availability up to the Lariat only.
Now what......
Keep my 2010 i guess!
