What's your Gas Milage on the 6.2L Engine
I am considering the 2012 HD F150. Looking at the Raptor too.
Since only the 6.2 L is available in both the HD and the Raptor, I'd like to know what gas mileage i could expect.
Also, is anyone having problems with the 6.2?
Do any of you 6.2 L engine owners regret getting the 6.2L?
Thanks

I have a 2011 6.2 Harley. I get 12mpg on daily driving. Love the truck, but the gas milage sucks! However I don't regret getting the truck!
I have a 2011 Harley and I love it!! NO regrets at all with the 6.2L and no problems with the beast. I get about 11 or 12mpg in the city or 300 miles to the tankful - but it is a huge tank (thank goodness). Awesome truck.
I bought a 2012 HD a month ago, I only have put 600 miles so far and the computer is telling me 13-14mpg daily driving and 463 miles to empty last time I filled up.
Truthfully, I don't drive enough to care about mpg and I really wanted the 6.2L. I don't regret it one bit. It was between the Raptor and HD, but the Raptor is really wide and won't fit in a lot of car washes. This was a deal breaker since I use them often during winter to wash the salt off.
PS: The 6.2L is also available on the Platinum as an option.

Whats wrong with wanting to know what MPG to expect? Even asked about my motorcycles fuel mileage before i bought it. I'm not a impulse buyer and all my purchases are based on gathering information and knowing as much as possible about them before buying.
I don't understand your logic and fail to see any humor in my original question.

I was just busting your ***** on it... Jeez..
Has nothing to do with you doing your own due diligence on a rig..
But, if it gets lousy mpg's, you are not going to get the truck?
It's the top of the line F150 and has the biggest gas engine and has a $50,000 MSRP price tag on it.. An XLT starts out at $28,000...
I think most folks that are even considering that kind of luxury rig are buying them for the Bells and Whistles they offer and have the $$ to go that route in the first place and not too worried about it getting 14 mpgs..
I'm sorry you took my humor the wrong way as I was just messing with you.. That's why I added the cute little smileys...

I don't understand it. My 500 HP truck gets 12.5mpg city with a 5.4, blower and 4speed. How does a 400hp 6.2 with a 6speed only manage 10-11mpg?
I really want a new white 2012 hd and mpg isn't an issue but I would expect 13-14 in city
