Lightbulb Tailgate Emblem Alternative

Although I'm not a Harley nut, it looks great.

Not much $$$ either.

( it looks a little off center to the left though )

Looks nice and the price is right. Did you get it at the Front St location?

This alternative emblem is a far cry from the
$229 original equipment chromed one that adorns the front fenders.
Interestingly, when you remove the existing
F150 sticker from the tailgate, it exposes 2 holes already drilled which directly fit the pins projecting from the rear of the chrome emblem; ie. Ford had planned originally to place that emblem there, then nixed until the 2001 model.
Seems like it might be time to write another letter their way, asking about this and the other owner plates that the Americans got !!!
Thanks for the pix of this emblem; looks like a more afFordable solution, but I'm still out there lobbying for the authentic one.
...................Regards.........Fred

Thumbs up

Looks pretty good and a good price too. I was caught by your L tailights, I have GTS smoke covers right now but I think those actual lights look pretty good.

It came in a wraper. I will see if I still have it. I am sure there was a part number on it.

Harleyboy

I think the L Lights look amazing on this truck. I am getting a lot of positive coments form people all the time. I will post some more pics soon to give a better view.

Casey,
I ordered the tailgate emblem from the 01 and it fits perfectly on our 00's.
