I didn't want to get involved in this but I think most will agree that JaxHarley is the one being foolish.

My posts in no way contradict themselves. The fact that I am getting the center caps only because these 18's don't have any center caps does not make it such that I am trying to make my truck look like a HD. On the contrary: since the center caps on the HD (look if you don't know what your truck looks like) are only frosted with the logo, from any distance (more than 5 feet), no one can tell they have the Harley logo on them.

By the way, I got my 18's from New England Wheels for $395 each. They only had 4 sets of wheels, so apparently they are not easy to come by. They are the only ones I have found anywhere besides the actual 20's ($795 each, cheapest I've found, ouch!).

I am tired of quibbling with nitpicking people who have so much time on their hands that they have to criticize others.

By the way, 4DOOR, I notice you have the Gibson Supertruck on your supercrew. I called Gibson about this and they said it wouldn't fit on the supercrew. Do you have any pictures that you could send me or post that might disprove their theory?

 

I've had the supertruck exhaust for a year now, I don't know why gibson told you that because they're the ones that told me it would. It's the same model # as the supercab if I recall. I don't have close up pictures of it, but I'll get some for you and I'll post them at the supercrew board. Give me a few days as I have to use my brothers camera.

For what it's worth, a while back this guy in the Lightning forum posted pics of his truck with a friend's HD rims and regular L rims. The L looked much better in Harley garb. I imagine if I didn't have the original, I'd get the replicas myself. For me, it's a matter of taste, if I like it, I'll do it! (Hence the L tail lights; "ricer" looks and all) Love ya guys!
