Hi there!
I'm still here but very busy with yard work and I'm back to the reality of having to work to put gas in my truck!!! .81 cents a litre. Good grief! Did get my wheel locks though. Had to get them at Ford. Went to Canadian Tire and the guy asked me if I had the actual HD-F150 or was I trying to make it look like one. What a bonehead! LOL. Looking forward to the trip,
Cindy.

Question

Hi stampedezone - welcome to the site! I see you're from quite a distance away - are you going to be in the area at that time? I'm asking because we're having a rally in June in Sandusky, Ohio - a day of off roading & a day at Cedar Point. If you'd like to attend it is open to all! Since you haven't included your truck stats in your sig I don't know if you have a 4x4 or not but it's open to everyone. You can ride along in someone elses truck should you decide not to take yours off road.
Hope you think about attending - check it out under Events & Happenings for detailed info or email me - Cowlady18@cs.com. Bye!

I am still in for a meet and tour. I found a place that we can meet, eat, and park for a picture taking. It is about 15 minutes past the ford plant. It is called Californias, they have cruise nights every wednesday .There is a large parking lot with a patio so we can keep our precious toys in view of each other.

Keep on Trucking

By the time we meet should have the tonneau on. In reference to the above re other F150 owners, the more the merrier, and it would also be neat to include and invite L owners since Oakville is their build plant as well as our 00 models. California's sounds like a
good place to meet--sounds like they would be used to our type. There are 2 other events that HD owners might consider attending:
1) everytime Friday falls on the 13th, bikers (the 2 wheeled types) gather in Port Dover Ont--this event has grown every year and Good Friday had the largest congregation of bikes to date.
2) Pumkinfest, Port Elgin Ont also has an area devoted to bikes, mainly Harleys, in conjuction with a classic car show for 2 days that's part of the biggest pumpkin weigh in Ontario. Last year saw about 800 cars and about 50 bikes from antique to modern; maybe our trucks fit in somewhere It's held the weekend before Cnd thanksgiving.
