Question Hey BlownHarley!

I noticed your mods and have a few questions. I know pretty much everyone on here is putting the Lightning lights in their HD's, but you have the covers. Anyways what do the tailight covers look like? Also wondering if you felt any difference in power of any sort with the K&N Airfilter, because I was thinking about getting the K&N FIPK but a friend of mine put one on his Dodge and said that he could barely feel any extra HP. Now I'm not sure if I should try to buy the $300 FIPK or just opt for the regular filter? And last of all, you know I gotta ask, how do you like your superchip flip chip? Thanks

Harleyboy,

Sorry to burst your bubble, but I haven't updated my Profile yet. I have since got the AirForce One FIPK. Makes the truck sound like it's got a set of ..... if nothing else. I have ordered the Lightning tailights, but I am told that they are on National Backorder. I Really like the Taillight covers however. It really ties in the whole rear end. The way I figure, the lights are SOOO easy to interchange, I can switch between them as I see fit (Note: LOCK YOUR TAILGATE AS THE LIGHTS ARE TOOOOOO EASY TO STEAL!!!). The Airforce one is also chrome, which you can't do to your OEM intake, and as us bikers know, chrome won't get you home, but it'll get you ... well, you know.

So what do you think of the AirForce FIPK? Any noticable power changes? And you forgot to say anything about the superchip, thanks again!

Hey Harleyboy,

Believe it or not, I haven't had the chance to fill my tank with premium yet in order to flip the switch over to the "juice" stage. The shift points are however already 100% better. I guess the throttle response is a bit better with the AF1, but the sound is the greatest factor. Sounds like a big-block 429 Cobra Jet under the hood with the secondaries opening up when you hit the gas. Two thumbs up!!!

Love the tail lights, now that the truck is lowered. They looked okay at the factory height; but just didn't grab me...Now that is is lowered those lights fit right in!
