Post Warranty to cover routine maintanace?

Hi Folks,

I purchased a 2001 HD a few weeks ago and according to a friend of mine the Ford dealers are offering a routine maintance package when you by a new vehicle. He believes the package covers routine services such as oil changes, Brakes, 15,000 , 30,000 maintance etc... Can someone plese confirm this for me.

Thanks

yes yes you can get maintenance under the Ford ESP Extended Service Plans. your Dealer should have tried to sell it to you when you purchased the truck. If you bought the truck used. go on down to your local Ford dealer and as long as the vehicle has less than 36,000 miles they will more than likely sell it to you. they make big dollars selling you them there warrantys, like you pay $550 and you get 7 oil changes worth $140 and a coolant flush $50 and a transmission service at 30,000 worth $85 and two fuel filters
worth $70. No no ford says coolant needs to be done at 50,000 so you dont get the coolant flush but you do get all the wiper blades you can wear out and all the brake pads you can wear out in 36,000 miles, blades are $10 each and what one set of pads
and machine rotors what $100 for a total of $455. AND Ford the all mighty discounts the payment to the dealer like 30%. Thats right when the dealer submits the claim to Ford for a $20.00 oil change, Ford is nice enough to give themself a discount of like $6.00 so the service department gets $14.00 Thats because when the dealer sold the $550 policy the dealer got to keep like $250 But the sales department gives none to the service department and then they are cheated out of the 30%, Ya good old ford stuff. pay $550 and get $450 if your lucky to wear out the brakes

My dealer gave me, quite unasked but much appreciated, free scheduled oil change and car wash for life when I purchased my F150 Harley this past Sat. The dealership is a bit out of my way (took me a while to find a dealership that'd accept a Plan price for the truck), but I do plan on going there to take advantage of the offer.
