Question Need some opinions

I have the chance to purchase the Lightning headlights and markers lights along with the tail lights. What do you guys think about doing this mod?

Thumbs up

Well I voted yes on this mod with my pocket book. I have gotten allot of comments about them. People notice something is different even if some of them can't say just exactly what it is. Most though ask are the lights stock and where did you get them. So I would say go for it, I see not downside except for the cost which really isn't that bad from the dealer, lots less I understand than some of the aftermarket suppliers of the so called "clears". Take care, hope this helps.

HarleySupercrew, you're BAD! I *swore* I wasn't going to do the front clear lights, but your pics look great and really do tempt me. (BTW, if anyone wants to see some really good pictures of these mods, be sure to check his link out above!)

So, what was the bill for those fronts?

P.S. And, how does that sucker sound now with your mods? Am I gonna have to make a Texas trip to my mudder-in-law's house to have an excuse to come check it out?

You know the Beach may just be what a guy needs who has been in as much snow up there in Iowa as I understand you guys have had. If you make it this far South give me a shout. As far as cost I think all of them (fronts, rears and front corners) were around $380. I have the invoice at the office and can look it up if you need exact. Got them from Padre Ford in CC. Parts guy there is John Melchor, he has a '00 Harley truck and is a real nice guy. Give him a call at 361.994.6200. He does mail order business also. Take care,

    Cool

Ok, I did it. The Lightning headlights, corner and taillights are installed. I must say it definitely gives the truck a totally different look. I really like the headlights and the corners, not too sure about the tail lights but I guess they will grow on me. Besides they are easy to change if I decide I really don't like them. The total cost with shipping came to $370.00 for the entire setup. I got them from www.mrtaillight.com
you can email steve@mrtailight.com if you are looking for them. He might have some left if not he should be able to get them for you. Tell him harley8784@aol.com sent you.

    Thanks again to everyone.
