Check out the website http://www.everstoystore.com. They stock the HD F150 models. Their prices are very reasonable. Also, Ford sells them through their Ford merchandise website. Hope this helps!

Hey Baddgene I know this a little off topic. But I notice that you have Triumph Daytona 955.I am currently in the process of buying one.Although I haven't decided between the one you have and Yamaha R1.I was wondering how the ride on one of those is and how is the accelaration and how much did it cost you, the price I get at the dealer is $11,000.Also what is your overall experience with the bike. And if you don't mind how much are you paying per month and did you get the extended warranty. And how much do you pay for insurance.I'm 19 so I'm pretty much going to pay a lot.But I was wondering if there was a way around it.Thanks for any information.

There are a bunch of them for sale on eBay. Just head on over to http://pages.ebay.com/search/items/search.html , type in "Harley Ford 1:18" and click the check box for 'Search title and description.'

I bought my diecast truck off of eBay, btw.

Steel Breez, the 955 (aluminum silver), is one sexy *** bike! Badass truck, sexy bike, heaven!! The price you're getting is msrp, and there ain't a whole lot of room for haggling, as there are not many of these bikes around. But, I would definately recommend it over the run of the mill jap bikes. Triumph is changing ow it looks for 02, to look more like a jap bike, but it will be way more powerful (144hp vs 126 now). But, it's still plenty fast and flickable as it is! And you'll rarely see another, so you'll get the same looks, we get with our HD F150s. Need I say more?! BTW, I did manage to get mine for 10,500. Insurance thru USAA only 250 tof 6 months full coverage 200 deduct. Damn good! Bottom line, if you are choosing between the dayto and the F1, forgetaboutit, 955!!!!! If you want more info email me geneulmer@hotmail.com

This is getting long I know, but you did say you were 19?! F150 and a bike? Wanna adapt a 32 year old?

I was at the dealer this morning and they had one of the die-cast's sitting on the counter. They wanted 72 freaking dollars for the damned thing. I just laughed and told them I got mine for $28 online.

Thumbs up

Thanks alot Baddgene.Sorry I took so long to respond I haven't logged on lately.I'm still undecided on what bike either Yamaha R1 or a Triumph Daytona 955.Both of them are really nice and cost about the same.As for the insurance I don't know what I'm going to do, everywhere I ask for a quote they give me an outrageously high price or they just don't want to insure me.Do you have any ideas, they would be appreciated.Within this week or next I should have my bike its just a matter of which one.Another thing I like about the Triumph is that its unique and fuel-injected, I guess thats 2 things. But its a hell of bike. How is the performance compared with the Jap bikes say the R1 or Ninja. Is it worth the money.Well thanks again in advance for any information Baddgene.

It all depends on what you want in a bike.

For accelleration...your riding skill is more of a difference than the power of the bike. An Expert rider on a 600cc bike will smoke a Squid on an R1.

Remember..the R1 is a Track bike thats been migrated over to the street. It has very horrible ratings in comfort and wind protection. It was designed to go very very fast and be very very nimble..ON THE TRACK.

If you want an FI bike...your choices arent limited anymore if your looking to buy New. Heck most 600s now come with FI. Hopefully this isnt your first bike considering an R1. If so...I hope you have a pretty nurse in the hospital

Talking

Well sense this turned into a bike thread I'm going to jump back in...
I'm not knocking anybody who rides,or what they ride but....
I don't have any problems cleaning out the hang out when I come up on my Ducati Monster. It's far from stock, lots of carbon fiber, polished gas tank 944 big bore..oh if I could just go for a ride,I broke it two months ago.Major transmission troubles.

Red face

Believe it or not the four gears I need will cost less than $300 new or I could get a used 748 trans for $800,the 748 has a much better gear spread.Of course the fact my bike has about 36000 mile on it I'll change all the bearings, seals ect,+ have the bottom end balaned for the new pistons(944 of course)then may as well get those carrilo rods, knife edge the crank......
This stuff has got to be worse than drugs, but when it's running good..well you know!
