Post OOO THAT SMELL!!!

Greetings to all. Now that spring has finally arrived in this hell called Central NY, my baby can be released from her prison. She's been stored since Dec. Need some advice on how to get rid of the mothball smell. This is the first vehicle I've ever had to store. Any suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated. Oh how I've missed her.... Peace

DEVILGUY,

Thank God, another poor schmoe who's in my same shoes. Didn't have any mothball smell in mine though. Sure gonna have alot of fun now that spring is here.

Cool

Mine was stored from Dec. 1, through last weekend. I did have Stabil in the gas, and it was on a float charger. It fired up and ran great. Drove it 60 miles to make sure that any and all moisture was burned out. Sure great to get the truck back out again!

Here in NW Iowa we had the longest snowcover period in 30 years. That kept the scoots as well as the Harley truck in the garage way too long. Sure good to get this winter behind us!

Here's how to get the smell out....

1- Sneak up behind her...

2- Place both hands on those ever so sleek black fenders....

3- Gently!!! and I mean ever so gently pull her back to nestle on your screamin loins...

4- And here's the most important part... Mount her and show her all the respect any and all women need... Then start to push down hard on her and let her show you her 'Lightn" quick responses....

5- Show her how much you luv her by driving her by all your envious friends...

That should do the trick...If not let me drive her a little.... Seeing I have had my gal a while longer than you I know what she needs and but becareful she maynever return...hehehehehehe... John from NC

Go to the hunting section of any department store and find some "Scent Killer". Its made to neutralize most any scent and is safe to use on anything since its mostly water. This stuff will kill the odor of fox urine!! If you're a deer hunter you will know how strong a scent that is!! Good Luck!

WOW!! Sounds like it's been a while there 'Lightn'!? I'd be afraid to ask why you'd have to sneak up on her?? When you've got the best, there's no need to show off... unless of course you're a little unsure of somethin??? (Does the hehehehehehehe part go here? ) Snyper, thanx will give the Scent Killer a try. Peace

Speaking of smells...love that new leather smell!! May be a thing of the past, just heard of a leather shortage due to hoof and mouth disese.
