Do you know what parts are on your Harley?
Learned something cool on my truck today. I was at the track and there were 2 lightnings there. We got to crawling under my truck and looking at it and the lightning owners noticed that my truck has the lightning suspension. The front springs have the SVT stickers on them and the rear leafs are the same number as the lightning's ( 4 or 5 I can't remember the exact number right now). Also I have the bilstien rear shocks. In addition if that wasn’t enough good news we noticed that my muffler is the same as on the lightning's, a Walker I believe. Also my truck has something these others didn’t and something they wanted: an aluminum drive shaft! Cool huh. We also looked at the brakes and it appears that the lightning's calipers and rotors are larger, too bad. Anyway something that proves these trucks truly are a great value for the cost of the Harley upgrade package. Take care,

When I was looking I had a salesman tell me they had a lightning suspension. I didn't know whether to believe him or not as often they don't always know what they are talking about. That's good new though. I like a good handling vehicle. 1.5 weeks and I'm still waiting for it to come in. This is terrible.

Hey, HarleySuperCrew. Maybe you can confirm something. Can you read the Transmission code off your vehicles label. I've been trying to confirm that the HD specials use the 4r100 tranny. According to the brochures etc. it should. I believe this is indicated by an E or 44E on the sticker. This is the heavier duty trans.
Thanks, still waiting on mine.
