Finally saw one
This message is directed towards Nathan:
I'm still waiting on delivery of my Harley Davidson F150 and than I read your posts about a Supercrew! Where did you place your order and do you think my local Ford dealer would have any info on this. I would love to change my order to a Supercrew! I wonder how hard it would be to do that. Any guesses on how much this truck will cost? I've been totally frustrated with my salesman on getting a build date for my truck and now I learn that Ford is building a Supercrew HD 150. Boy is he going to be pissed when I change my order!

The SuperCrew version is for next year. It won't hit production until at least December, but my guess is they'll start arriving in Spring. As for price, nothing official yet, but with the moonroof and all the options, I'd guess $38K As for switching your order, that isn't really that simple. I am a Ford dealer and I found the codes in the computer. Ford hasn't announced anything about them yet. This year I got one of the first Harley trucks because I had one of the first orders in. That should be the case again in 2001. As for not getting your 2000 see if he has a VIN, if no VIN, your probably not getting a truck, if he does have a VIN it's probably lost in shipping(Ford does a lousy job of assisting its dealers in matters like this)

Nathan,
Thanks for the info. I just received an email from my salesman and he said I have a locked in build date. I'll go ahead and get the truck and then maybe I'll trade it in for the Supercrew! My salesman talked to his GM and nobody knows anything about the Supercrew! That doesn't surprise me. If I had known you earlier I would have ordered a truck from your dealership. Save a Supercrew for me--I'll drive out from Jersey and make a vacation out of it!

Message to 'flstc98' and Nathan Bernard:
Glad to hear you've got a 2000 coming! Don't
despair, you'll love it. You can always trade
onto a 2001 Supercrew, but in case Ford changes their mind, you've still got a Harley so relax.
Nathan, there's some news from Ford Canada re the missing tonneau cover; they're supposed to be issuing a letter to owners early August detailing how to get the cover. As for your
truck (flstc98), it MAY come installed on the vehicle if you take delivery in August.
Take care guys, and enjoy those machines!

I heard some negatives about shipping. My dad (UPS) will be, if they haven't already, taking over shipping for FORD, you will get your cars lots faster.

Hey everybody: Just a short note to let you all know I just got my HD-F150 this past Tuesday. I've been busy showing it off at work and everybody loves it. I find it handles the bumps pretty rough too, but so does my buddy's Lightning. I just ordered the soft tonneau cover today for it today. The black is hard enough to keep clean without all that extra fiberglass to worry about. Besides, I'll probably be hauling a Buell in it someday. Somebody let me know the best Supercharger to put in this truck. After driving my friends Lightning I was spoiled with all that power. Later.
