Only thing to be careful with on the 02 version is that the plugs are 6 threads and not 8, so popping plugs are notorious on those trucks.

Sounds like you found one in great shape and low miles, but at the price you paid you could have gotten a fully built truck. But to each his own, if your happy then that is all that matters.

Your gonna love that truck.

 

I have an 02 with higher miles. Only problem I've ever had is Transmission pump went out and had to rebuild the whole tranny. Of coarse I bought it used so not sure how it was driven before hand. They are good trucks! Just don't expect to get decent gas mileage anymore.

 

Id LOOOVE to get into a Harley.

 

I bought mine new in 2000 and have loved it ever since. The only problem is you get too attached to them. I am going to sell mine soon, but I hate to see it go.

 

just add some boost, the '00 harley's are the best looking ones...
