Help Figuring out my Harley...

Hey guys....new to the forum...new to the harley family. Been loving these trucks since I graduated high school in 2000....now 9 years later and i decided to buy me a 2003 two tone. Found it in Kansas City (I'm in MIAMI!!!)
with very low miles, full factory warranty and extended warranty thru FORD....so why not. Now comes the part that i'm kind of egh about. This truck had some performance mods done to it before....majority been removed but I know it must have some parts still on because im boosting 13-15psi on the charger and 411rwhp on the dyno. I already bought the Diablo Tuner and had it tuned at a shop since the dealership flashed the ECU before me buying it. My problem is this, I don't know what pulley sizes the previous owner has installed, i don't know if he upgraded the fuel pump to a 255walhbro, what thermostator anything else.....any shop around my area wants tocharge $150+ just to look at parts and figure it out, i think that's ridiculous since honestly I just want to know what Pulley's I have installed. So the question.....HOW DO I FIGURE OUT WHAT PULLEY SIZE I HAVE INSTALLED?

Thanks in advance for your help

#1 welcome

#2 break out the tape measure / is the crank pulley caged?

#3 it's safe to guess they PO left the stock fuel pumps and the stock 180* thermostat i there

#4 sounds like it's got a 6# lower and a decent tune

#5 does it have long tube headers?

i see the upper pulley, not caged. Honestly looks like the factory upper pulley. Headers look stock, previous owner left cherry popper pipes but not a full exhaust system.

Welcome to the site.

Like terajarame said...get a tape measure and measure across the "LOWER" pulley and tell us how many inches it is and we will tell you what size lower pulley you have.

Without knowing what, if any internals of that engine have been upgraded, as your crank is the only thing that is forged from the factory...I would not push anymore than 12lbs of boost on a stock block as you may join the vented block club sooner than later. Also, be careful at outside temps of 60 degree's or lower...NO 2 GEAR KICKDOWNS!!!!

Pictures of the engine bay could help also.

As for what thermostat you have...you have to get the water pump off to get to the thermostat and that is a pain in the ARS, in my opinion...best guess is your probably running the stock thermostat still.

The fuel pumps your gonna have to drop the tank or take your bed off to get to those to see if they are stock or not.

Nice choice on getting the 03 two tone also!!!!

Any other questions you may have there are some other good sites for advice you may want to check out.

Yes...at the bottom, it will be the biggest you got. Depending upon what fan set up you have...if memory serves me correct...the stock fan is directly across from it, as I believe that is how the fan turns when the truck is on.

I upgraded my fan to a Dual Speed, E-Fan
