'01 5.7l Hd?

Saw a lady driving an '01 HD the other day in the Drive-Thru and I asked how much she wanted for it. $20K w/ 13K miles. Listen to this:

Me: "Is it supercharged?"
Her: "No, its stock"
Me: "20 grand for a N/A 5.4? Your crazy!"
Her: "Its got a 5.7L in it"
Me: "Who put that in?"
Her: "It came with the truck in '01. Was a special limited package in '01"
Me: "Ummm...you sure about that?"
Her: "Yup."

She drives forward and gets her food, I walk away chuckling. Unless someone wants to confirm this? A 2001 HD with a stock Ford 5.7L V8? I never knew Ford made a 5.7L

Well Ford did make two 5.7L engines which are the 351ci Windsor & Cleveland as fitted in older Mustangs, Torino's, Courgar's and even the older F150.

Neither of those engines were used in the 97-03 F150 platform.
The 01 HD has the regular 5.4 liter Triton engine as found in the normal F150 for that year.

The 01 HD is the rarest of all with only 6900 being built. Not worth 20k though.

It was in nice shape, but the fact that a lady driving it depreciated the value of it for me. The worst thing of all was she lit one up after she drove off Def not worth 20K, even if it was S/C. She was a crazy lady.
