I just bought one of these trucks and I'm very pleased. However, the only manual that came with my truck was the regular F150 manual, nothing for the Harley accessories like the supercharger. This is the first supercharged vehicle i've owned. Can anyone tell me what kind of maintenance I need to do? Does the intercooler fluid ever have to be changed? Does this kind of supercharger need oil added? Obviously i dont know much about the supercharger aspect, so any info you can provide would be very helpful. Thanks!!!

Congrats and welcome. Most HD owners have migrated/now reside in site posted above by Dbl G.

Check if your truck has an oil separator (coincidentally, Dbl G above makes some of the slickest set-ups around). If not, then cleaning the intercooler is a good place to start (pics of a dirty i/c)


I have not seen an actual recommended interval to change the s/c oil. But if you decide to do so, stay away from the super expensive Ford brand (over $20/6 ounce bottle)and get the GM-branded equivalent (around $9/bottle)
