The first supercharged f150 harley came out in 2000 and they continued making them supercharged all the way up to the 100th aneversary in 2003.

The harleys werent supercharged for the first 2 years of production. The 2002 and 2003 models were the only ones that came with the S/C.

Thanks for the info!! Were they the only models that had the stock blowers installed, besides for the Lightnings?

I am looking to purchasing one next year but want to know what to look for. I'm looking for the any crewcab version.

jreulet got it right: '00 and '01 were N/A. Patrick, curious how you find the '01 the "ugliest" since except for the striping and badges, the '01 is the same exact screw as the '02 and '03s.
FWIW, I am quite happy with mine.

I didn't like the stripes on the 01's

00 - extended cab n/a 5.4L
01 - crew cab n/a 5.4L
02-03 -crew cab s/c 5.4L

The 01s have a thin hockey stripe that comes up from the bottom of truck, and goes about where my door protectors are. The 02/03s had the thicker stripe/flame that was up top just under windows. And yah the badging is the same. But dont the 02/03 say S/charged on them?

But its still a harley with an awesome interior. Especially the 03 aniv black/white interior

And kromdom: I wasnt trying to personally dog you or the other 01 owners, just stating my preference.

Absolutely agree about the '01 stripes...YUK! main reason why they came off pronto. PAT, all is good, man (and yes, the s/c years said so in the emblems)!

IMHO, the 2-tone '03 lookthe best but I could not afford one back then. So I've always had "supercharger" envy and finally got this one to make my dreams come true:

All those trucks need is pullies, efans, shackles and a tune. And they will be perfect. But they are already very close to perfect.....

Firstly, sorry to hijack your thread, Way2Big!

PAT, life is short and we only live once..GIT R DONE (get dem rims, man!)
Already did pulley and e-fan for the L, planning to port the blower soon and will do another dyno/tune. Then I am done with GO-FAST mods for the L.

Just got back from deployment and got myself this "homecoming" present...it's taking up my time (and coins) now:

Pat,
Nope, that is not my truck. Glad you signed up @ NHTOC, most HD owners reside there. BTW, I also drop by other sites (NLOC, FTW, SVTPerformance) and this site for my bike:

kromdom-

I have a Busa also. An '01 actually.

I didn't think there was any "hijacking" done here.

BTW, did the 02'-03' SC HD have the lightning engine? Also, what is the difference between the SC's engines and the n/a engines, internals that is.

Thanks Guys!
