Hi besco and welcome to F150online.
Your engine is the same as any regular 5.4 2v engine fitted to the F150 between 1997 and 2003.
The usual products like a cold air intake and custom tuning from one of the supporting vendors of the site will go a long way to waking up your ride.
I have my tuning done by Troyer Performance who supplied all the hard parts and the custom tuning.
Do a search in the Chips and Programming section and you should find what you need.
As far as a supercharger goes, you can convert the engine to "LIGHTNING"" spec by buying all the parts from one.
You will need the charger, fuel pumps, wiring harness, intercooler, pcm etc so it's not a straightforward swap although it can be done.
You might want to look for a wrecked L at a junkyard or on ebay for all the parts.
Another (and probably simpler option) is to go for an aftermarket centrifugal blower from somebody like Vortech or Paxton.
Those companies make complete kits for bolting a blower onto your n/a 5.4.
Good luck with what you decide on and let us know how it goes
