The dealer where I bought my 02 HD from had 3 on the lot at the same time. These were all used, btw. The first night I was trying to make the deal on the one I was interested in, the sales manager had taken it home with him. I wanted to test drive one so they gave me the keys to another HD and said take it for a spin. It was a complete turd! I swear it felt no faster than my 01 5.4 Supercrew. I was really starting to worry as I thought for sure I would feel a huge difference. Well, the next night I test drove the HD I was interested in. OMG.....it was night and day difference. There was definitely something up with the first one I drove. I heard the SC but I think all the boost was getting bypassed someway. I couldn't believe the difference. Feel sorry for the person who bought the other one. I told the salesmen to have the truck checked out. Hope they did. Soooo, If this guys truck was running top, no way he would have lost. Either it wasn't running well, or the truck wasn't supercharged.

 

I think I got the Hemi guys mad at me. All I was looking for was some friendly get togethers to race in real life and have fun. I figured if I could get them out to the track with more than a couple people around it could cut a lot of the internet exagerating out of the stories told on line, on both sides. Plus I thought it would be fun. If you read the posts on this link it seems they are not interested in putting themselves under any scrutiny and they keep going back to the " well you can get a Hemi for 17k", meanwhile none of them paid under 25k. I see alot of contradiction and hypocritical statements by them. To each their own.

Kind of funny when they dont believe I beat my buddys 02 Dakota with the 4.7l.

 

Did you notice they don't want anything to do with real races? How many times have I asked them to get races going with other makes or even R/Ts so we could discuss the results on line. They don't want and scrutiny at all, they want to hide behind their computers. On the "i beat two Hemis" thread, did you read my idea about getting folks from other make's boards together with themselves to race on the same weekend all over the nation so we have real results and not internet results? I heard of everything beating Hemis, even the R/T board has Hemi kills. I myself have beat Hemis with both my trucks. They don't want to admit the Hemis are overrated a bit. This is evedent in their dyno runs of 260 rwhp, R/Ts dyno around 210. Thats a 50 hp difference at the rear wheels, yet they advertise 100 hp more than a 5.9 at the flywheel. And they claim to have a better tranny than the 5.9s so it's not that. So funny.
