Talking Alan Pinter saves the day...sort of.

I bought may truck brand new (Its a 2001) from the Ford Dealer here in Daytona. When I first got it I had no clue about the plaque and Knife kit I was suposed to get. After joining F150online I became aware of it and also of the infamous Alan Pinter. I emailed him about five times and he gave me his phone number, We spoke and he told me to give it a couple of months then if nothing call him back. Well I waited and still nothing. I called him back and he asked for my info and and I told him that I just really wanted to know my build number. He said he wouldnt be able to find that out. Then I said that if it wasnt a problem that I still would like a plaque. That was over a year ago. I walk out my door today and there sits an envelope for me. Return Address : Alan Pinter. My Reaction: OHHHHHhh Shizzzzzzzznit!!!
HAHAHa I open it up. Its the plaque. Theres a letter stateing that the original was sent to the dealer and that he spoke with the dealer and they have no clue of what it is or where it could be. Only Problems..
1. Still no build number. (it doesnt really matter anymore because I want to trade for a 03)
2. The headache involved in getting this thing was not worth the hassle.
3(and biggest problem of all). It says supercharged on it. Yeah thats right its a 02 plaque. Now that means I need to get the Kenne Bell I been dreaming about. But what the hell. Its better then nothing.
I got to give it to Alan though. He did come through. If your out there Alan Pinter "Thank You"!

If anybody still has his email, Please post it or forward (email) it to me.
Thanks and sorry about the long post.

Yep, Alan came through for me too. I bought my 02 back in July. Took a few months to get the first plaque and knife set. Too bad it came with my wifes name on it. I contacted Alan, who's info I got on this forum. He said no problem he would reissue the plaque but not to expect it for at least 4 months. That was in October. Yesterday UPS dropped off a package from Alan. There is my plaque with my name! Thanks Alan!! I can only tell people to have patience. He will come through. Alans email is alan.pinter@beanstalk.com. Oh yeah this site rocks!!

Hemi,
I loved the email about the governments new political emblem. Ive been forwarding that to everyone. I tried to post it but it seems that the gallery is under some major renovations.

Thanks,
db
