Cheaper Than X Plan?????
I can understand that. A loaded 03 in black lists for 38,845. X-plan price is 34,100. With the current 2k discount, I think the cheapest one could buy it would be 32,100. A plan would be 4% less. But a dealer does not have to participate in X plan pricing. I would bet most of the dealers are not discounting them much. The dealer in my area lists them on ebay discounted however.
I was offered 1% under invoice and $200 under invoice which is close to X plan. Only once was I offered $500 uder invoice which was on a dealer traded truck with 150 miles on it.
X plan is a good number, especially when you add in the rebates and dealer cash if available.
I have no more dealer loyalty than I have gas station loyalty. In fact, I have used the same gas station for 15 years until the owner retired and sold it.

Assuming that it is legal to mention the dealer's name( I'm not pimping for him) it is Doug Stanley, they are in Desoto. Their web page address there name & ford at the end.
It seems $31760 is better than the X plan in other parts of the country.
I guess everything is better in TEXAS.

They can sell for less, but from experience, they don't have to, they don't want to, and you'r just wasting their time.
Remember the rule of buying a truck that applies to all of us. "Anyone who will pay 30,000 for a new F-150 will also pay $30,200."
This rule also applies to rebates. "Anyone who will pat 30,000 for a truck will also pay $29,900 if there is a $500 rebate.
You can see how simple the math is!?
