I can understand that. A loaded 03 in black lists for 38,845. X-plan price is 34,100. With the current 2k discount, I think the cheapest one could buy it would be 32,100. A plan would be 4% less. But a dealer does not have to participate in X plan pricing. I would bet most of the dealers are not discounting them much. The dealer in my area lists them on ebay discounted however.

I got A plan and my buddy played with the rebate. He accidentally added an extra 1000 bucks to the rebate. No one noticed and its too late now.

I was offered 1% under invoice and $200 under invoice which is close to X plan. Only once was I offered $500 uder invoice which was on a dealer traded truck with 150 miles on it.

X plan is a good number, especially when you add in the rebates and dealer cash if available.

I have no more dealer loyalty than I have gas station loyalty. In fact, I have used the same gas station for 15 years until the owner retired and sold it.

Pricing in Dallas

In Saturday's newspaper, a dealer has the following ad for the '03 Harley:

Total w/options $38845 - Rebate $2000 - dealer Discount $5075

Price = $31,760

Happy with my '00, wish a had the supercharger.

What dealership? I saw an ad in the Dallas Morning News this weekend or last and it had 3 '02s going for $29,995. Can't remember the dealership right off hand. That's pretty freakin' cheap though!

I wish I would have waited now instead of buying in the fall. Oh well, there are no black 02's left around here so I would have been SOL anyway.

PLEASE HELP ME!!

Is X plan the best you can get from a dealer?

How does $33,995 plus X plan sound? Dealer said X plan would be good for another $1000 off.
So $32,995 for a beand new 2-tone?

Assuming that it is legal to mention the dealer's name( I'm not pimping for him) it is Doug Stanley, they are in Desoto. Their web page address there name & ford at the end.
It seems $31760 is better than the X plan in other parts of the country.

I guess everything is better in TEXAS.

They should come off another 1K. I gave $31,941 plus tax for my two tone with a moonroof after the 2K rebate. Also there are no dealer fee's with X pan.

No, x plan is the best you can expect, (as in demand,) from a dealer.

They can sell for less, but from experience, they don't have to, they don't want to, and you'r just wasting their time.

Remember the rule of buying a truck that applies to all of us. "Anyone who will pay 30,000 for a new F-150 will also pay $30,200."

This rule also applies to rebates. "Anyone who will pat 30,000 for a truck will also pay $29,900 if there is a $500 rebate.

You can see how simple the math is!?
