Met a guy at my VFW post last night. Had leathers on, so I asked him what he was ridin'. He said "Tonight I'm drivin' ... a new F150." We got to talkin' and he took me out to see his new '03 2-tone (450 miles). First time I've seen the '03 in person. WOW! ... the 2-tone is SWEEEET! Then I got in ... the light grey, vertical seat biscuits almost made me sick!! They make the seats look narrow, long, and cheesey! IMO. Got talking further with him and he said he feels the same way!! ... has been trying to get the dealer to swap them out for '02 seats! Told him about this board and the other site (wasn't aware). Soooohhh, ... I suspect we'll be hearing from him soon and don't be surprised if he might like to find someone to swap-out seats with him!

 

yeah, i'm not that big of a fan of the stictch pattern on the 03's, or the 2tone interiors at all, but i still every time i see one
did ya notice the seat emblem doesn't say HDf150 on it anymore either? just has the emblem outline in the chrome piece.

also, the 03 HD corner lenses no longer have the frosted HD logo on them.

Having owned an 01 and an 03.. I have to disagree... The '03 seats are MUCH more comfortable.... the leather has a texture that didn't exist on the '01's.... I don't mind the colors... the two-tone seats make the interior look like it has two gray rally stripes going down each side of the interior....

the most comfortable seat i've ever set in was on my friends '00 HD f150.. it was like sitting in a recliner..

i think i would fall asleep on a long trip if i had to drive in seats like that. lol
