Airbag suspension
HD2NV89 has an airbag suspension on his 00HD

not sure exactly what he has, but i was looking at the air ride techonologies ( i think) with the 4 link setup and all that....mostly bolt on kit with very minor cutting and welding if any. I'm not doing a cnotch either like HD2NV. i mostly want it for looks at shows, so i don't care if the frame is sitting on the axle. LoL! just air it up for driving and slam it for showing. expensive though, probably like 5-6K installed i would imagine???
i would just do a 3/4 drop kit and be done with it, but my driveway ramp has a big slop to it, and i barely make it up now with the stock front suspension setup. so thats not an option for me
goodluck....i also believe "lunchbox" is another member you should get intouch with if you are planning on doing this mod. he knows quite a bit about suspensions and airbags also

Had Air Ride Tech installed on my 00 HD. Cost approx 5200.00, line broke after coming off the freeway at 70 plus mph, setting in my driveway. Had to have it towed to the shop, since it was so low I couldn't turn the wheels. Ended up finally leaving the rear suspension alone and puting Air Ride Shockwaves on the front. Have no problem with the handling now, but if I had it to do all over again knowing then what I do now, I would make moderate lowering to the truck and not do Air again. Just my opinion.
