purge sound?

Could it be a screech from the accessory belt slipping on hard shifts? Mine does that but I haven't had the time to swap the belt.

Otherwise, I don't know. Maybe you could describe the sound a little better and Gregg can give you an idea...

I never thought of that

Thanks Ken, Ill have to check a little better and find out if it is the acces. belt. IThat thought never even passed my mind. But it could be it. It almost does sound like a belt slipping. Ive never changed one out before. Is it much work and is there any way to check the belt before I do?
Thanks

I know exactly what sound you are talking about! Mine only does it if you romp on it and let off right before the shift... like a 'squirt', kinda screetch... hard to describe. Doesn't do it on full-throttle upshifts (those freakin' rip!) or regular part throttle shifts. But I have noticed it...
