Front.

No. Right now I'm looking to have the truck level. Haven't fully decided if I want to drop the front yet. Though each passing moment, I'm leaning towards it.

I though that having 2.5" rear drop after settling would result in rear lower than front if front is not dropped. Am I missing something?

Measurements

I measure 31.5-inches front and close to 31.5-inch rear now after install.

I'll have to measure again to make sure of that. I think I'm a little closer to 31.75 rear.

I'll double check for you tomorrow.

Hmmmm... My truck's rear is 2" higher than front. 2.5" drop would be too much for me. I can not measure how much it is, though, because my truck is in the shop. Again. And I called Ford Customer Service (again) several hours ago asking them (again) to help service with problem because it is best interest of all parties to have this resolved, especially with this being 3rd time truck is again in shop for same issue. And they told me (again) if service has no way of experiencing isssue then Ford can not help me. It doesn't matter that more than one person beside me can testify that truck has changed behavior, if they can not feel it then it didn't happen. What a wonderfull excuse. I am thankful to God FoMoCo doesn't make or service planes, rockets, submarines, ships, or missile shield. Can you imagine how excuse "we didn't personally feel issues" would work if that was to malfunction?

In any case, Ford Customer Service is anything but customer service. It is a farce, a facade. If Ford wants to cut costs, it should close their Customer Service because they are not servicing customers, they are serving as Ford's official excuse line that has misleading official name.

Drop measurements

Drop measurements measured again.

31.5" front
32.25" rear

Don't know where I got that 31.75" from. I must have the tape measure crooked.

Hope this helps and good luck with the FoMoCo. (or should it be MoFoCo?)

Re: Drop measurements

So you are saying your rear was 3.25" taller than front??? I was thinking our trucks are only 2" taller in rear than in front. Am I wrong?

By the way, I have seen some people on one of the boards refer to it as FoMoCoMoFo. I find that funny because it is 3 things in one: a) it reads same front to back and vice versa, b) it very efficiently expresses opinion, and c) because it has a meaning.

I thought stock was 31" front and 34" back.

Mine is a little higher in front at 31.5" so the drop I've achieved is d*mn near level.

You can check it out at our SoCal meet!

I hate to tell you this, but "FoMoCoMoFo' does not read the same backwards.

Where about's in LA are you? I'm still open to meeting anywhere.

And it sounds like others are too. Do you have any other suggestions? I don't know anything north of OC really.

San Pedro. It would be a 130+ miles round trip for me to Rancho Cucamonga, which I wouldn't mind under other circumstances, but at $2.50 gas prices combined with me being unemployed for last 3 months I am hessitant.

Long Beach area comes to mind, because it seems central to all of us. I don't know spots there, but here are some thoughts:

1) Acapulco Restaurant on PCH. That is official SoCal LOC meeting location. I haven't been there yet, so I don't know how good place is, but if I remember it correctly from pics of their gatherings parking lot seems big enough to accomodate us.

2) There is a Hooters in Long Beach but I don't think we would like it. Parking is crowded and is not free ($4+).

3) Ports O' Call in San Pedro. Lots of parking and seafood restaurants of "you pick fish, we prepare it" type.

What are your thoughts?
