Zoran,

Personally, I don't think this is a big issue! I love my truck and enjoy it as it is ... for what it is!

But I thought you might like to know that I just (12:22PM, PST) got off the phone with a fellow named Matt Gourding at Ford SVT in Dearborn, MI. He is a tech-rep for SVT who's sole purpose is to address owner questions/concerns. He said that the only difference between the SC'ed H-D engine and the L engine are the supercharger pulleys and associated tuning chip. He went on to say that there were three primary reasons the H-D was "detuned". First, weight considerations. Second, two-piece driveshaft. Third, L marketing differentiation.

I think you will sleep better if you call him, or anyone at SVT HQ! The number is: 800-367-3788. Pleasant dreams!
This is what has been written in every place. Why should we beleive what someone is saying over the phone even if it is from Ford? I think we need an affidavit from him too...

With his title he has authority to officially to discuss specs. So I will give him a call and nicely ask him to send me a letter confirming our discussion and whatever will be said in it.

I hope your kidding.

You sure do sound like your looking for lawsuit info.
Why I don't know.

It's good thing you and 365 don't like me I would shoot myself if I found out.

I am dead serious. Do I sound like kidding?

What I am looking for is peace of mind. If I wanted to sue I could have done that months ago (in my opinion my truck satisfies all law requirements of the lemon with punitive damages), but instead I am trying to fix it. Why? Cause I was in love with my truck when it did not have problems and I would love to have that back.

By the way, I always believed that innocent ones have nothing to be concerned about. Do no wrong, see no consenquences, very simple.

Looks like it is not just me and him. Something makes me tend to believe you are very lonely and sad person.

Please, do not. But think a little over following question: How many people would miss you if you would?

Then sue, I would.

You lost me there, Did you read that off of a card ?

Is this the same tendency that made you think we have more c/r in our motors and weaker rods ? LOL - I rest my case there.

Funny, I'll give you that, but kinda like other other things in my life the list would be long and distinguished.

Man that quote thingy is fun isn't.

ROFLMAO! And you actually believe in that? Guess what, you need to recount that list, it has more flaws than Florida ballot. Here are the rules: imaginary friends don't count, pets and plants don't count, you can not count anyone unless they confirm they are not saying it just to get you off their back, you can not count yourself either, cashier from grocery store doesn't count either, she is not interested in you when she says "Hi, how are you doing", she says that to every customer. Hmmmm... looks like your list just went down to zero.

I'm sorry...but I tried really, really hard to not post anymore to this thread but, I know, and get the feelig from others that these issues are all coming from the same individual over and over and over again and they are getting very tiring now.

ZoranC, sorry about dis'ing you with the ignore list post earlier but I get the feeling a lot of folks agree with me here. (BTW, I am not a politician.)

Everyone wants to help everyone on this forum but sometimes the way things are presented and/or replied to can be interpreted in a manner that can be counter-productive. I think that explains why the last few threads you were involved in have gone down the tubes as HD356 says.

You say how much you love your truck but I never see any positive posts about what you love about your truck and now there's even talk about lawsuits!!

Okay...I am done now and promise not to post anymore to this thread.

Zoran,
I am really starting to think you just want to stir up trouble. Over at FTW you said you wanted to talk with a tuner that could answer your questions. Now you can call SVT themselves, and hear from the horse’s mouth. At what point will you stop beating a dead horse?

What possible reason do you think some guy at SVT is going to write a letter for some guy who calls on the phone? Like I told you before, Ford never marketed the HD as having the same engine as the Lightning.

No offense guy, but maybe you should trade your HD in on a Toyota.

The ignore feature rocks!
The subject of this discussion has really gone out of whack. I agree with BillP and Ayrton. It has just been as of late, that this kind of crap surfaced and it all revolves on the unhappy camper(s). Taking the quality of the HD forums with it.

Sigh....
schitt

Wink

Ok, I suggest to let us all forget about this issue and stop posting. We all know the real truth. That way this will go to the bottom of the list, disapear and will avoid further fights among our beloved memebers. I promise to not even read it any more.

If you go over threads on this and on other Web sites you will notice that at least 3 different persons are asking same question. First question was raised on NLOC.NET, and it was not raised by me. I just noticed it, thought it would be of interest to us, posted link to it on these forums, and you know rest of the story. After that few more people expressed interest in it too and are continuing to discuss it and trying to find out answer. Starter of this particular thread is Slingshot, again not same person. So, hate to disappoint you, but your feeling that issues are all coming from same individual is incorrect.

Originally posted by BillP You say how much you love your truck but I never see any positive posts about what you love about your truck
Is it mandatory to publicly post it on this site or otherwise I can not ask technical questions about it? If you really want to you can double-check my statement about how much I love my truck with Shadow9, ShowYa, and local Harley-Davidson guys and ask them how happy I was before it started having issues and how eager I am to take care of those issues and have it just the way it used to be.

Originally posted by BillP now there's even talk about lawsuits
Scroll a little bit back and reread what I said. You will realize you are trying to put words in my mouth that were not there.

Originally posted by BillP Everyone wants to help everyone on this forum but sometimes the way things are presented and/or replied to can be interpreted in a manner that can be counter-productive.
True, people do help, and that is main reason why I am here. I am here because of them. Others, well, they just seem bent on helping destroy any attempt of actually getting anything achieved.

Originally posted by BillP I think that explains why the last few threads you were involved in have gone down the tubes ...
Trying to stick to subject that some of us are seriously interested in makes it go down the tubes, and juvenile behavior does not? What a logic.

Originally posted by BillP ... as HD356 says.
Trying to twist his words to sound as if he agrees with you? Are you sure you are not politician? Executive or manager maybe?

Originally posted by BillP I am done now and promise not to post anymore to this thread.
I sincerely believe that if person has nothing valuable to contribute he/she should not post anything in the first place. Only thing I see you are done with in this thread is helping to take it in the wrong direction.

Yeah. Lets go to more serious subjects than technical specs of vehicles we own. Like a next installment in the "I know how to speed but I am not man enough to deal with consenquences" series. That does belong in F150 Harley-Davidson Truck forum.
