I think what I want to do is a mild 1/3 drop. If I get the 3" shackles for the rear, what is the easiest way to get a 1" drop in the front? I don't want anything extreme, so 1/3 should do me fine. TIA.

there is a 1" spring available for the front and as mentioned earlier there is a new 3" rear shackle. should do it.

a set of 2" drop coils for the front will get you a 1" drop, since the HD's are already dropped in the front, you loose an inch by replacing the springs, so 2" f150 drop springs will get you 1" on a L and HD.
but if the springs are specifically for a L or HD, then 1" springs will drop it 1". a little confusing, but hopefully you know what i'm sayin

Question

Who has these 1" drops springs for the HD/Lightning or the 2" springs for the F150 in their truck?

How is the ride and how much are they? I don't want to mess up this good riding truck or I will just stick to the 2" drop shackles and leave it alone.

so which brand do you guys prefer, Eibach or Hotchkis? Were shocks needed afterwards, or were the stock shocks fine?

Anybody have any pics with either 1" spring being used? Who out there has a 1"/3" drop?

Hey Harley356
Great idea on the drop kit thread. Don't know if the picts you post will be of harley's, but if you can, throw in some regular F150s with the different drops also. You know because the HDs and regular F150s come out the factory with different heights.

franky,
I just sent you an email. I have the Hotchkis leafs that I'm not using. You could use them and maybe a shackle to get the drop you want. I got a great deal on them and will pass that on to you. Call me or email me back.
Steve
