I think the dark trucks look kinda funny with the L tails. Anyone have some good pix for me to look at? I saw a black HD with them and I didn't care for it. NO OFFENSE ANYONE lol...

i was back and forth on the L tails also. wasn't sure if i liked them on black, or not. after i got the 02HD headlights though, there was no doubt in my mind. truck didn't look right to me with clear lenses up front and then red in the back.

anyway, here's a pic of teks's 02DSG with them

i think they go better on DSG than on black, but still look great on both




can't wait to see a set on a 03 two toned!

I'm still lukewarm on the completely clear lenses. to me they look better in the photos, but the one black truck I saw with them didn't quite look right to me... maybe just a little too much clear plastic.

If I find a smoking deal maybe I'll put some on. Otherwise I dont' think I'll spend the dough.

 

never noticed that before, but now that you say something, it does look pretty cool!


anyway, have you ever seen the L tails at night? i never did before i got mine, and IMO, they look 10x's cooler at night or dusk than they do during the day. the way the red light reflects off the chrome is just awsome. i get alot of compliments on them. little different to get used to at 1st when i got em, but now that i'm used to them, i love em!
