What part # are the fog lights on the Harleys?

'00 fog lights are H1, and I think it is the same for the '02.

 

yeah, its the same part # for all years, H1.

are you upgrading bulbs? if so which kind are you getting? this is on my list of upcoming mods, but i'm not sure which brand to get cuz i was gonna try PIAA's, but they blew on Teknic's truck and melted teh fogs or something, now they don't work


*oops*, maybe i shouldn't have answered this cuz i don't have a 2002 HD and i apparently don't know what i'm talking about
(directed at GTS, if you guys read that thread, you'll know what i mean )

 

i can get the hellas - both the headlights and the fogs to match - and they are second in quality to the piaas - and supposedly better in quality than the sylvania silverstars. Plus the glass is tinted and not coated on the bulbs. im still tossing the decision around though.

 

if you do get them, keep us posted on how the quality is. i'm getting the silverstars for the headlights, but i want to get something for the fogs also, and unfortuantely silverstar doesn't make anything in a H1 size.
can't have white light headlights and yellow fogs now can i?

im getting the PIAA platinum superwhite headlights, and the Hella Optilux H1s for the Fogs - ill let you guys know in a couple days how they work!!

Where are you getting the Hella Optilux fogs and how much? I just put in the silverstars and I love them, but I want to get matching white light foglights. Thanks.

 

anyone know what size the foglight hole is on the HD fogs...or what the size of the actual fog light is?.....

ive heard 3" 3.5" and 4" so i dont know for sure?..

the fogs are 4". somebody on the other site confirmed this cuz he upgraded his fogs to another brand

 

Hey do any of you people know if you can get the fog light housings on their own ? had one break thanks what with that and the emblems

 

you can't buy just the foglight brackets by themselves. ford only sells them as a whole unit. list cost is around 155, but dealer price that you'd most likely have to pay is like 195
Is your truck still under warranty though? if it is, that is covered, although not sure where any dealers are over in Eng.
