6lbs stock. Lightnings have 8lbs stock.

depending on what other mods you have (intake? K&N filter? airbox mox, etc?) you could get anywhere from 10- 14

I'm reading 6 to 7 psi when punching it stock. While at idle or cruising it will read about 15 In. Hg.

Cool. I'm getting 10-12 on hard acceleration. I guess my 6# pulley is doing its job. I have the panel K&N with the bottom box mod. Maybe with a big conical filter kit I may get more? Any opinions? Tks.

Where did you guys tap in you boost gauges? Mine reads close 10psi when I stomp on it. I'm stock. I have removed the boot from the air box though.

isnt' there already a "T" in the boost line for you to just plug into?

yup, more filter area to suck in more air. there are a bunch of kits out there, but the one i like the best is JL's kit because its got a big azz conical filter, and also a cold air box, and its under 200 bucks. Then if you want to spend a little more, you can hook up their ram air system to the box, or even make your own.

Do you have a 02 or up HD ?

You seem to answer all the questions when people ask about them. Not a flame but thats like me answering a question about a 03Cobra hell. I_Know_Alot_ about them, but so does anyone that can operate a search feature. Sometimes realworld experence is what is needed. Just a oppservation...

The amount of boost you see all depends. I saw 7 pounds bone stock. Now I see 15+lbs. With a 8lb pulley+ air box mod. If you mod your box any then out the window goes the stock readings

whats your problem GT-40 GTS? No i don't have a 02 or up HD, but as if you didnt notice, i'm on the boards every day (here and FTW) and read the HD board and L boards all the time, i've picked up a hell of alot of answers to commonly asked questions from reading, so i can answer most (*not all*) questions guys put up here. If i don't know the answer, i don't post it. It does seem people on here don't know how to use the search feature, but whats the big deal if i try to help people out? i don't go flaming them for helping people and giving them an opinion they asked for from people

And the basic air filter question, i guess i'm not allowed to put my opinion in that, even though its a basic concept that a bigger filter will let in more air. The guy asked for opinions, and i gave him mine based on all that i've read here at the site on which kit most people have and are happiest with, and based on which one i would get if i had a s/c engine, since i've seen all the kits in person too and based on price and quality. I didn't tell him you have to get this kit, i just recommended an aftermarket conical kit which he asked for opinions on

if you don't want to read my posts, then don't, its simple as that. why don't you try and help him out and give him your opinion, then worry about what im' saying

Um, yeah it seems like a flame to me. And no thats not the same thing. I know alot about the HD trucks, so when i know an answer to a question, i post it. i don't remember reading anywhere in the rules on this site you have to own the same vehicle that a question is being asked about to answer a question about it, or give an opinion on mods.
it would be differnent if i'm giving BS answers, but i'm not, so why don't you worry about your own self?
Plus, i DO own a harley truck, and a good 85% of the things on my 00 truck are basically the same as the 2001 and up trucks, other than being screws, and the 02's and up having a s/c engine, and i am entitled to give my own opinion

Just a oppservation...
o yeah, there's no P's in that word,,...just an observation

flame on, i don't really care what you have to say. you're not gonna stop me from posting answers and opinions when people ask or need them, so if thats what you're trying to do, you might as well give up now

Josh, before you bash other's grammar, note that you failed to capitalize 15 "i's" in that post.

You guys need a brake...yer workin' way to hard! And I'm laughin' way to hard.

Josh don't go away....don't change...don't do s*#t but be your own man. If you're good a workin' the search...more power to ya...we need somebody to do that too! You've helped way to many people in the short period of time I've been here. Hopefully we've got the God given brains to use our own discreation (hell run a search quick...tell me if I spelled it right. lol) when somebody on this site or others gives us there opnions or for that matter, the things that people claim as factual. Personally, I'll keep readin all yer posts....now can we get some beer here?
