Exclamation HELP!!!! Gauge install

Alright,

I have been fighting this thing for about an hour and a half. I did a search but it really didn't tell me too much. I just got my gauges that I ordered for christmas. I'm installing BOOST and A/F Ratio. The A/F has 3 wires, red, black, purple. The boost just has black, and white. Where did you guys tap these wires in? I don't want this to be Half a$$ed, it says to tap into the key switch.(WTF) Then where does that stupid purple wire go, it says it goes to the PCM. Please help. I've got the truck all torn apart. Thanks

Purple goes to the O2 sensor signal wire that goes into the ECM. Sorry, I don't know which color or which one it is in the HD. The ECM bundle is between the battery and the firewall. I installed it in another car (Pontiac). I need to find out too because I plan to add one to my HD. Good luck!

I got the same gauges for xmas. All is hooked up except for the A/f . I needed to craw under the truck to figure out which wire to use, the ground was wet so I haven't got to it yet. I have direction at home (at work right now) on which wires to use. If you don't get it between now and tomarrow I will post. If you do figure out which color wire from the computer please post so I don't have to craw underf the truck

thanks

No need to crawl under the truck! On the mechanical boost gauge, just find a suitable power supply that is switched, I used one in the headlight assembly so that the light was only on when the dash lights are on. On the A/F, I used the wiper motor power wire because its right there when you come through the fire wall. Read this thread for the purple wire...https://www.f150online.com/forums/sh...hreadid=96481. Good luck.
