That price is well back of book in any part of the country. I would triple check the truck for any damage, and if it has a clean bill of health, I would jump on it.

Better check it closely. PO might have modded it. I've read where people have purchased trucks (Lightnings) that should still be covered by warranty, only to find out the truck has been black listed by Ford as having been modified and all warranty claims denied. Just got to make sure, a quick VIN check should be able to clear this up.

We all know the first things people want to do with those trucks are pully's and chips.

Great price, and great advice from everyone else.
Definetely drive it check for damage real closely. Also bring it to a ford dealership mechanic to see if they can find any problems and if it is still under warranty, I did this with mine before I got it and they found little items that needed to be addressed that I did not notice with my untrained eye.

Great price though.

Great price if it is everything they say it is. Definitely check it out closely and if any mods were done make sure they were done right. Especially engine/performance mods.

Good luck!!

thanks everyone

i checked it out and it seems ok, i was there when he bought it(traded in his 01 h/d screw for ten grand more than he owed!). but he is a philly cop who is going to truck driver school down south and doesnt need the extra payment. i am waiting on some financing from the credit union and some on-line banks. i tried to tell my girlfriend that it would make a excellent christmas present .

what a replacement for my original baby(see sig)...dont make fun of me PLEASE!...lol!

thanks again
