Hi ATST,

Actually, it was an honest boo-boo.

It's looking like the same time as last year, the last weekend in July. We're just waiting on confirmation of the plant tour date that Friday, July 27th, so we can make the announcement with the finalized dates, and Raoul is working on that with the people at the Ford plant as we speak.

As soon as Raoul confirms that, we'll annouce the firm dates, which, if the Ford plant tour come thru as expected, would make the dates Friday July 27th, Saturday July 28th, & Sunday July 29th, which is of course the last weekend in July, just like last year.

The minute we get that confirmation, we'll get the big public announcements to Steve to he can put them up here on F-150 Online like it was done last year, with the registration form for the Rally, plant tour, etc.

Looking forward to seeing you again!

Another note on the last 23rd of June... MI F150 is having a meet with Ohio, and PA at cedar point in Sandusky, Ohio... see the other link in the events forum...

Looks like it's going to be a good time... Even if you have a 2wd or a Lightning, you're still more than welcome, and there's plenty to see and do at the park regardless of the weather for 2 days.

I don't know if I can make it all the way to Norfolk this year... I wanna take the boat out SOMEtime this summer!

GIJoeCam, there may be a few of us going to the F150 Rally in Norfolk. Keep an eye out when things start to happen and you would be free to join the crew heading in that direction.

Just so everyone knows what the current status of the Norfolk Rally is, we're not getting any communications back from the Norfolk Ford plant with regards to the tour again this year. We've been waiting on this conformation so we can annoucne teh firm dates, and so far, we're not gettign anywhere with this, unfortunately.

The plant tours are done by retirees from the plant, who get paid nothing for this work, bless their hearts, so we're at their mercy basically, and it's not looking good right now for a tour again this year.

Within the next 7-10 days, we'll decide whether we're going to wait any longer on them or not, and if we don't hear back from them by then, we'll drop them and replace the plant tour with another event. Many people have been asking for a competition show & shine type of event this year, so that's probably what we'll do instead, should the tour not happen.

Mike T. - are there any updates as to the plans for the event or are we still on standby for the tour?
We are nearing the two month countdown and I am getting anxious to start planning for the trip. As you know, I have one major event for this year in the bag and looking onto the next ones. Everything went GREAT, weather was awesome, everyone commented that it was absolutely perfect and everyone had fun. Which is exactly what I wanted. Now, just a week and two days and then off to Florida for 8 days in the sun.
