Wink

Don't worry Red, JMC SMOKED me by 3/10ths and that was without my chip and MY brat weighs more than I do!
I figure that me + my brat weigh in at the same as JMC + his though. I thought I was going to be in the 18's the way it was going so, what the hell, it was better than I thought.
The crappy part was, the chip does seem to work at the higher speeds though and I forgot to put it back in. We were 'playing' on the way home when the limiter kicked in..DAMN!

btw, if you notice the pic won't show up, 'Zing' is re-doing their site and it will show up soon.

I could only muster a 14.4 with my 180lb. son along. Best without was a 14.2. had a great time and are ready for more. Neal, you are a true horsepower freak!

Redwing,

Check your total elapsed time. Reaction + ET. Yours is .920 + 17.012 for a total of 17.94. Mine is 1.58 + 16.831 = 18.411. You were first to cut the 1/4 mile light. Your ET was slower than mine but your reaction time made up for the difference. If you count ETs then yes you lost. If you count total time from green light to finish line ( like the pros do ) then you won. When I get my reaction time down look out.

Regards

Jean Marc Chartier

Manx,

Your truck has 3.73:1 gears vs 3.55 in mine. You have a 5.4 and I have a 4.6 With all my mods I estimate 250 HP at the crank to your 260. My truck weighs it at about 5200# with all the goodies. Shame on you fo picken on a lil ol 4.6

Regards

Question

JMC smoked Redwing????

I guess it depends on who you want to believe. I was ahead by 1/2 a truck length at the finish line. Our time slips showed Me getting a 17.0 and Jmc getting a 16.8?????
How does the first truck to the other end take more time than the other truck???

After the race JMC and I both questioned if the data was inverted. It seems that 1/2 a truck length would be about 2 tenths.

Neal also recieved a time slip after a run that wasnot his car number, so maybe they do make mistakes. I feel I won the race Neal says Jmc won the race....Does It really matter???? blacktop 1/4 miles are no place for 4x4's anyway!
If you want another laugh how's this, No backfolded mirrors, no removed tailgates, no uloading of coolers, no unloading of spare tires, we didn't even unload our seats, yes when we ran we both had our sons riding shotgun!! I can't speek for JMC's son , but I'm sure my son will remember this day a lot longer than I will

We had a great time and that is why we went.
