Buck,
Im not gonna run (I think)but the 1/8 track was fun, we got to park where we wanted, play who we wanted to play with...F150 ruled that night.....And i think i ran about 9-10 times...Its up to you guys/gals....gonna have my little one with me, so the abilitity to park the truck close is a plus for me....My .02

Cool

I agree with Dave for the reasons he stated. I'd like a chance to lower my 1/4 mile time, but the 1/8 in Denton is better for a F-150 get together.

Wes Tarbox just posted on the Lightning thread that the Ennis track will be very busy so I'm thinking if we want to race each other then Denton may be the place to go. Dave and Sixpipes are right about Denton might be a better place for our meet. Let me hear from you either by email if you don't want people to know or post and I will make a decision by Wed. That way if anyone has to make Hotel arrangment it is possible. I hope that is ok.

I was going to let ya'll know a little from emails sent to me, but now I'm thinking that it really doesn't matter where we go as long as we are all there together. And now with lightning2strikes from Missouri saying he would come down if we go to Denton. I think this may have made up my mind. I know that alot of the 4x4 guys and others will most likely not run there trucks in Ennis and It is great to watch them run so I think we will stay with the original plan and go to Denton and take over. We here in the DFW area can go to the Ennis track in a couple weeks for the next Street Night that might not be as busy. Heck maybe I will have my top end limitar gone by then. Maybe I can have time to set up a group deal up for that. I hope that this sounds good.

Unhappy

Sorry yall but I won't be able to make it after all. I have to work until 10. My brother, some friends and I are planning to go to Ennis on Friday, March 17 because it is our spring break if any of ya'll are interested in a 2fer(2 wks in a row). I have been to Ennis once before but didn't drive. It was really fun to watch though. It really isn't very busy until an hour or so after they open. We got there around 7 when they are supposed to start and there were only like 7 cars in line so I guess if you want more times, show up early. Let me know if yall want to meet up on the 17th.

Exclamation

Hello all I thought that it was about time to get some directions and times set up. Below are the events and information that should be helpful for this weekend.

Ok here is an idea for Friday night we can all meet up at the Cracker Barrel just north of Denton at 6:30 . We will leave the Cracker Barrell about 6:45, this will allow us to show up in grand fashion as a group. The Cracker Barrel is located at located Exit #469 Hwy. 380 off of IH35 (I have place the Address below).

Cracker Barrel http://www.crackerbarrel.com/loc_store_directory.asp
I-35, Exit #469
I-35 & U.S.380
4008 North I-35
Denton, TX 76202-3406

If you can't make it to the meeting point at the Cracker Barrel at 6:30 here is how to get to the Track on Friday. The Track is just five miles north of Denton on Interstate Highway 35. While traveling north on I-35 from Denton just at Love's Truck Stop, take exit 473 to the northbound service road. After 3/4 mile, the northbound service road loops under I-35 and is directed southward. The entrance to the track is the first right after crossing under the freeway. Once you enter the private road to the track the I-35 Dragway will be on your right.

Ok for the Saturday Mod Party. I was thinking of getting started about 11:00 pending on how late we all stay up the night before. Here is how to get to my house in Carrollton. From I-35E you will take the Sandy Lake/ Whitlock exit. You will head East (That is a right if you are your were heading north on 35). You will follow it for a while and Whitlock will turn into Keller Springs. The next turn you will take is a left on Willowgate heading North. Take the third street to your right.
That is Winterlake. Follow it to the stop sign at Summertree. You are facing my house. We have a bunch of hedges at the side walk and I'm sure that there will be many a Ford Truck around. My Fathers (BlackHawk) house is just down the street so we may be there as well. Here are the addresses.

My street number
2768 Summertree

BlackHawk's street number
2732 Summertree

If you need to get hold of me here are my numbers:

Work 972 685 4095
Home 972 418 8560
Pager 1 800 209 9531

We should be at one of these two houses. If you do not get an answer at the door go around back and you will find us in the Garage.

Let me know if there is anything else that could be of help.

Hope to see you at one of the events.
